Field Trip to WonderWorks and Broadway At the Beach

 Please thoroughly read the following important announcements:

REGISTRATION/COST

·     There is no charge for girls enrolled in the Worth Beyond Measure Summer Program. Girls enrolled in the summer mentoring program will not have to register. Ronda Taylor, our program director, will contact each parent to confirm all girls who will definitely be attending.

·     All parents, family members, and additional guests who plan to attend must register and pay $15 to enter WonderWorks at 9:00 a.m. with our group. (See Instructions and link for Registration below for additional family members and guests).

The deadline to register additional parents, family members and guests is Monday, July 3, 2023. If you do not register on the Y.E.S. registration portal by the deadline, you will have to purchase your tickets directly from Wonderworks for the full price of $31.99. Also, late registrations WILL NOT be able to enter WonderWorks with our group and will need to stand in line with the general public at 9:30. Those who register on time will enter with our group at 9:00 a.m. Registration fees are non-refundable after July 3^rd..

PLEASE ONLY REGISTER THOSE WHO WILL DEFINITELY BE ATTTENDING BECAUSE WE WILL NEED AN ACCURATE HEADCOUNT BY MONDAY, JULY 3^RD.

TRANSPORTATION

·     Transportation will be provided ONLY for all girls enrolled in the program.

·     Due to limited space, all parents, family members, and additional guests must provide their own transportation.  

ITINERARY/SCHEDULE FOR FIELD TRIP ON SATURDAY, JULY 8, 2023:

·     6:00 am - arrive at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church

- Address: 7396 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406

·     7:00 am - depart to Myrtle Beach, SC

- Y.E.S. will provide continental breakfast and snacks on the bus for girls in the program.

- All parents, family members, and additional guests will provide their own transportation. (You may park your cars in the back parking lot of the church, but the church is not responsible for the safety of your vehicle.)

·     9:00 am - 12:30 pm – arrive and enjoy WonderWorks

- Address: 1313 Celebrity Cir, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

·     12:30 pm – 5:00 pm - lunch on your own on the grounds at Broadway at the Beach

- All attendees must bring funds to pay for their own lunch.

- Visit Broadway at the Beach Park and sites

- Everyone must stay in groups of 4 and must stay on the grounds of Broadway on the Beach.

·     5:30 pm - Depart for Charleston, SC

·     7:30 pm - Arrive at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church
